This code is an ECC200 data matrix that is 8 x 18 modules in size.  This code meets all of the specifications for data matrix code.  There is necessary quiet space around the outside of the code and little to no element distortion.  Our LDS optics were able to read this code with no problems.

This is a 10x magnification of this object.  As you can see, the object itself is smaller than 2mm x 3mm.

The following images are captures of what our scanner 'saw' when scanning the codes.  The one on the left is a black and white image taken with our M3 optic and the one on the right is a black and white image taken with our V2 optic.  As explained in our write-up of the M3 the image on the left was read as dark bars on a light background.  The image on the right was read as light bars on a dark background as explained in our write-up of the V2.  This was a special case in which both of our optics were able to read the code.
