Pharmaceutical Vial

The code on the top of this vial was printed using special UltraViolet sensitive ink.  This ink is all but invisible to the human eye and can only be seen at a certain angle.  Our 4410-UV is designed to make this ink fluoresce while the imager is decoding the mark.

The following images are captures of what our scanner 'saw' when scanning the codes.  The one on the left is a grayscale image and the one on the right is a black and white image.  These were scanned with our UV optic.
