InData FM-450

The InData FM-450 Image Reader can be mounted as a fixed mount device either on a RAM mount or with optional brackets. It reads 2D codes such as data matrix as well as stacked linear and conventional linear bar codes. It can also read a single or 2 lines lines of 5 different types of OCR Fonts. The FM-450 has the power to capture and download images to a PC for applications that include signature capture, PC-based decoding, and image lift requirements as well.

The FM-450 Reader was designed with the optional seal kit to meet rugged IP-67 environment but without the costs usually associated with this level. It is ideally suited to packaging, printed circuit board manufacturing, electronic component manufacturing, and clinical/diagnostic applications, and may be configured for keyboard wedge, USB Keyboard emulation or USB serial emulation, HHLC (Code 128 emulation), TTL RS232, or True RS232 output. The FM-450 connects to all popular PCs and portable data terminals.

Due to the innovative "Powered Socket" technology developed by InData Systems, the wide variety of InData powered and non-powered optics are available on the FM-450. You can select from the V2 style for flat etched marks, the M3 for curved and shiny surfaces, or any of the illuminated optics including the UV for "invisible" (covert) UV fluorescing bar codes.  If you are interested in purchasing the FM-450 you can choose to use it as a rugged industrial imaging scanner or may couple it with any of our optics assemblies or mounts.
